Will Cranky Fitness go back to being a health and fitness blog someday?
Or is it going straight to the dogs since Crabby took off on her trip?
(Wild dogs won't bring your slippers for you, but they are kinda cool).
Yeah, I know it can be a big yawn being subjected to other people's trip photos.
So feel free to horn in in the comments and tell me to cut it out.
It's just that we were SO incredibly lucky to see so many animals...
That I started to think that using self-restraint was for the birds.
(Yes, they have penguins in South Africa! Who knew?)
I won't try to buffalo you, there are probably MANY more photos to come.
OK, I'll stop monkeying around now.
(And yes, I know this is a baboon. The actual monkeys were blurry)
We've been having an amazing time, so many aspects of this trip have surpassed our wildest hopes. Our time in Cape Town plus three days of game drives in a private reserve that opens into Kruger national park have been incredible.
And we still have a couple more fun-filled days in Frisco, Texas to look forward to!
Thanks for your patience, and be back soon. Miss you guys!
More. Please. I love those pics and I want to read all about your adventure.
ReplyDeleteIt is really nice to see animals in a natural habitat. The last time I saw a rhino there was 3 of them in a cement sided box of a pen the size of 2 buses. I haven't been to a zoo since. It just isn't healthy for the animals.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics, and i'm glad for you that you are there and can share it with us!
ReplyDeleteI love the animal pictures -I think that safaris are super fun and can't even imagine how incredible it must be in South Africa!
ReplyDeleteThis is fun, it's like being on (virtual) holiday with you to see the pics and hear the updates. Looks like a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIt's like a virtual holiday for us :)
ReplyDeleteLove all these photos.
Love the pictures...keep on posting them!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures!! Keep 'em coming (and the puns, too) - when you're ready. But, first, just take time to really absorb it all, yes? Maybe Frisco is just the right place to start getting over jet lag and for some laze about non thinking, non blogging/posting time? My take is that there are just some trips you come back from with a different perspective that you don't want to lose hold of quickly. By all means, don't brush all the dust off your boots just yet: hang onto this great experience for a little while longer and take your time coming back to regular old life!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love the pics. I don't get tired of seeing places that I will in all likelihood never see myself. This is a treat.
ReplyDeleteLove this! So glad you two enjoyed South Africa and all the animals so much!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! The photos are incredible!! Keep'em coming!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this. It just keeps me dreaming. Such beauty. Sam
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you enjoyed your SA visit. I live in Cape Town and feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful city. We go to the bush when we can because even though we live here we never get tired of the animals, especially the elephants. You have got some amazing photos.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos and now I want to go to South Africa!
ReplyDeleteSigh. I want an adventure too.
