Quick Note from the Wilds of South Africa

I'd be lyin'...

If I said this trip wasn't a peak experience.

We have about 47,000 photos so far, and still counting. Yet we have very little internet connectivity, and virtually no free time to upload photos. We are being spoiled rotten but are also tightly scheduled... and I ain't complainin'!

More coming... can't wait to check in with y'all!

  1. Being spoiled rotten seems like a worthy use of your time.

  3. I think it's important for you to take every opportunity to bask in the life to which you would love to become accustomed, yes? Soak in every new experience, every bit of pampering, luxury and decadence you possibly can!!! Don't worry about blogging or anything else. And, if a few pictures somehow magically happen to find their way to cyber space, wonderful! They don't need captions or anything. And, if not, no "cat-astrophe" since, "manely" we will all just wait patiently for your return :).

  9. You guys are being so kind to stop by! And I promise you will be properly punished... er, I mean rewarded, with a crapload of photos. With very little time to get online and painfully slow download times, when we get internet at all, it may be dribs and drabs. And eventually, maybe something about health and fitness!

We have one more night at the lodge, then head back to Texas on a long-ass flight with a million layovers, then eventually home by the end of the week.

    Can't wait to catch up!
