I'm glad you are going to be a bone marrow donor. Gift of Life is actively looking for donors. It's also trying to raise awareness and get people involved through social media -- and that includes finding bloggers who know how to get a message out, and working with them to get people interested in donating.Gift of Lifehttp://www.giftoflife.org/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1704170106558126102.post-51833075333656337962008-11-07T16:53:00.000-05:002008-11-07T16:53:00.000-05:00Very interestig study! No way, too painful!!

But then I thought about it, and I kind of felt ashamed of myself--yes, I have heard it can be painful, but it will only hurt for a matter of seconds/minutes. Compare that to the physical pain of having leukemia, or the emotional pain of losing someone to it... I don't know. I found myself feeling a little selfish. I mean, I've gotten plenty of shots and had blood drawn countless times in my life--all things that hurt, but I did them for my own health.

So yeah, long story short, I've decided to sign up to donate!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14285262062574006927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1704170106558126102.post-22658464997952884632008-11-06T12:06:00.000-05:002008-11-06T12:06:00.000-05:00I've heard too that donating bone marrow is very p...I've heard too that donating bone marrow is very painful.
