The only cleanup is rinsing the blade-base thingy, which takes 10 seconds. I don't have a specific recipe as far as measurments or ingredients go. I'll start my smoothies with crushed ice, add orange juice, a banana, blueberries and carrots. I consider these my staple ingredients. After that I may add whey protein, flax seeds or a green powder for an extra boost. Smoothies are a great way to get the recommended fruits and veggies.
